Cockeysville, MD Overview

Cockeysville, along with Hunt Valley, Timonium and Lutherville make up the “York Road Corridor” of communities.  Cockeysville was named after the Cockey family which helped establish the town.  It has welcomed tremendous growth in recent years.  This former rural village is now home to planned communities and attractive subdivisions that have sprung up in response to employment options in the business park of Hunt Valley.
